WARMINSTER, PA — The Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) started its fall training sessions at the Philip Rosenau Company here with their Train The Trainer class.
Another class of cleaning professionals from across the United States was welcomed, and each attendee brought their unique skills and experiences to the event led by Master Trainers Marion Ivey and Bill McGarvey.
With combined experience of over 60 years in the cleaning industry, Ivey and McGarvey provided a wealth of knowledge to the class.
According to CMI Training Specialist Brant Insero, CMI training events each hold a different dynamic based on who attends the event.
“As each person introduced themselves, we heard many words of excitement for Train The Trainer,” Insero said. “One Warminster participant even mentioned, ‘This is the hot thing to do in our company!’”
The positive feelings and suggestions from this class offer encouragement to all attendees as many face similar challenges in the workplace.
Each participant comes from a different background, such as educational, healthcare, contracting companies and government facilities; some attendees have over 30 years’ experience as others have none.
Each person brings a different skill set to the events and a lifetime support network is formed.
“This is what makes our Train The Trainer events so special,” Ivey said.
Each attendee of Train The Trainer will leave as a CMI Certified Instructor.
“Our goal at CMI is that each person will bring additional knowledge back to their facility and enhance their training programs utilizing the core curriculum from Cleaning Management Institute,” Insero continued.
For managers or contractors looking to create a consistent training program to make their organizations more efficient, there is still time to join the final two Train The Trainer events of 2013.
